Young Ninjas introduced the head coach

Young Ninjas has announced the signing of Slap as head coach. The 28-year-old specialist signed a two-year contract. The Swede will join the roster ahead of the band's performance in the WePlay Academy League Season 1 Finals.

Slap has been active in the Swedish scene since 2011, performing in several mixed bands. Notably, in 2015, he played with THREAT in Acer, a team that also included Devilwalk, and helped Secret fe take first place at Intel Challenge Katowice 2017 as an assistant coach.

The Swede has been spotted on the server with Young Ninjas since June 1, but is now joining on a permanent basis ahead of the team's upcoming departure to Kiev, where the WePlay Academy League Season 1 Finals will take place.

The Young Ninjas finished the WePlay Academy League regular season in second place with a score of 10-4, behind VP Prodigy, fnatic Rising, mouz NXT and NAVI Junior only. In their first match of the LAN Finals on Friday 27 August, the Swedes will face fnatic Rising.
