HUNDEN intends to leave Heroic
HUNDEN has shared information that he will leave the Heroic team at the expiration of his contract with the organization. The 30-year-old Danish specialist has decided not to renew the agreement with the team, which entails speculation about the future coach. It is likely that the next place in the Danish's coaching career will be the Astralis team, where HUNDEN was recently wooed.
According to the Danish specialist, in recent months he had been negotiating with the organization, but decided that it was time for "a new chapter in his career." HUNDEN noted that he has managed to achieve impressive results with the team over the past 15 months. It should be noted, however, that the trainer spent almost a year in prison for using an exploit.
In addition, HUNDEN said that rumors circulated on the Internet recently that he allegedly transferred a document with Heroic strategies to third parties. The specialist himself denied the accusations, saying that he shared files with colleagues from other teams with tactics to increase the level of personal skill.
Interestingly, the 30-year-old Danish specialist has apparently already spent some time on the sidelines, as he did not travel with the team to Germany for IEM Cologne 2021 in early July for reasons that the players and the organization have never shared.
HUNDEN has been part of Heroic for over a year, joining the team in early 2020 as a replacement for LOMME. As a coach for the team - and an analyst during the period when he was banned by ESIC for using an infamous coaching bug - he helped Heroic reach new heights as the Danish team quickly went on to win trophies, winning ESL One Cologne and DreamHack Open Fall in 2020 and ESL Pro League Season 13 in 2021.
