daps becomes coach of Evil Geniuses
daps returns to the professional CS: GO scene after a nine month stay at VALORANT. The 27-year-old Canadian becomes the new coach of Evil Geniuses. Note that a little over a week ago, daps announced the end of his esports career and retirement from the discipline.
daps is known for his career in the CS: GO discipline. Since 2021, the 27-year-old Canadian player has played for teams such as LunatiK eSports, Liquid, OpTic Gaming, NRG, Cloud9 and Gen.G. Over the course of his career, daps has earned just over $ 250,000 by winning several big championships including Intel Extreme Masters XIII - Shanghai and cs_summit 3.
At the same time, in October last year, the Canadian decided to move to the VALORANT discipline, joining the NRG team. Together with the new team, daps won Nerd Street Gamers - Monthly December, and also made it to the TOP-3 at VCT 2021: North America Stage 2 Challengers 2.
Interestingly, in 2017, daps was already trying on the role of a coach. The Canadian coached NRG from October to November. However, this experience did not bring any dividends, after which daps returned to the role of team captain.
From now on, the roster of Evil Geniuses is as follows:
- Brehze.
- stanislaw.
- CeRq.
- oBo.
- MICHU.
- daps (trainer).
