Valve continues to fight boosters
Valve, who developed CS: GO, does not end their war against players who dishonestly raised their rank on their accounts. TalkEsport has shared this information from multiple sources.
The publication said that more than a thousand booster accounts got under the arm of Valve. The main criteria for accounts that were banned from playing in matchmaking were the presence of game locks and the absence of a VAC-ban, trade blocking and other restrictions. Thus, the CS: GO developers were able to weed out accounts that used the help of bots, and other accounts whose rank was unfairly raised.
Valve recently upset part of the audience in another way. The developers have released an update in which it is no longer possible to obtain prime status without making a monetary transaction. Such a move should slow down the intruders.
