Omaken Esports acquired Heroic

On the official website of Heroic, it became known that the club has made a deal with Omaken Esports, as a result of which the latter have now become the full owners of the esports organization. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

Omaken Esports is an organization founded by Youtuber Joakim 'NoobworK' Haraldsen. Omaken has a clear goal of becoming a "Scandinavian esports hub" and to achieve this, the organization was able to raise about € 15,000,000 (~ $ 17,700,000) within the investment circle.

As for Heroic, the latter were founded 5 years ago by members of the Team X. Currently, the club has a roster in only one discipline - CS: GO. The roster, by the way, is on the 6th place in the list of the best CS: GO teams in the world according to the HLTV portal.
