Valve Banned Team-Coach Communication During RMR Season Online Matches
Now team players cannot communicate with anyone during a match. This applies both to coaches, who previously could give some thoughts to cybersportsmen, and to other service personnel. The ban rule is valid from the beginning to the end of the map. In between the cards, players can again communicate with someone else.
Valve did not name the reasons why they decided to do this, but there is speculation that this is due to a coaching bug or streamnining. Vitality was recently accused of streaming sniping, but due to the fact that the camera was unable to record serious violations, the French were not disqualified from BLAST Premier Global Final 2020, in which they participated, but received a $ 10,000 fine. ESIC discovered a violation on the part of Vitality during the BLAST Premier Global Final, but streamsniping took place during the sixth season of cs_summit.
The well-known coach Ivan 'Johnta' Shevtsov, the only mentor out of 36 coaches, who was able to appeal the decision regarding the ban and free himself from a shameful fate, has already expressed his position on this rule. On his Twitter account, he wrote the following:
"Okay, so you screwed up the update. The bug appeared and the community of professional players reported that there was another bug that you didn't even know about. People found those who used the bug and even punished them. What do you do after that? You punish all communities. "
