GuardiaN: "I think NAVI are not as good as people think about them"

RivalryCSGO's YouTube channel has invited Ladislav 'GuardiaN' Kovacs to participate in their "Overrated/Undervalued" show, in which esports athletes share their thoughts on other members of the esports industry, be they individuals or entire teams or organizations.

Ladislav Kovacs answered several questions, but the most interesting of them were those concerning his former team, Natus Vincere.

As for Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostylev, he said that the Ukrainian was generally appreciated. Ladislav's personal experience tells the Slovak that sometimes viewers really overestimate s1mple, however, despite this, he is still considered the best player in the world.

Ladislav expressed himself less positively about Natus Vincere and the CIS scene. In his opinion, teams from the CIS are highly overrated, as are the scene of this region as a whole, and Natus Vincere are no exception to this rule. In his opinion, if NAVI wants to be the best in the CIS, then their performances should go to a new level. According to Ladislav, the roster, which included GuardiaN itself, as well as starix, Zeus, Edward and seized, and then flamie, on the contrary, was underestimated. Opponents did not treat the team with due fears, and Natus Vincere of that time, in turn, steadily reached the top 4, which can be considered a good result.

Kovacs also shared his thoughts on the star duo, s1mple and electronic. In his opinion, fans are pinning too high hopes on these players, thereby increasing the moral pressure on Natus Vincere. Because of this, it is extremely difficult for the latter, and therefore NAVI are defeated where they could have won. For this reason, GuardiaN considers the Natus Vincere team to be overrated. Ladislav praised Zeus' leadership qualities and called Daniil Teslenko a good captain.
