The incident, widely regarded as one of the most controversial moments in Counter-Strike history, involved a fixed match against NetCodeGuides in 2014. Following the investigation, several players — including Brax — received lifetime bans from Valve.

According to Brax, the restriction was actually lifted in early 2025, though he only recently chose to share this information publicly.

While he does not plan to return to competitive play, Brax is exploring ways to remain active in the esports scene. He has expressed interest in roles such as coaching, analysis, or scouting.
