Intel Extreme Masters is back, and how. The company has announced the IEM Global Challenge 2020 tournament, which will be the first offline championship since the coronavirus pandemic.
The championship itself will be held from 15 to 20 December. The tournament will be attended by 8 teams that have received a direct invitation from the organizers. They will compete for $ 500,000 in prize money, and Cologne will be the scene.
It is not yet clear whether fans will be allowed to attend the arena, or whether the championship will be held at Intel's offices. More details will appear in the coming days.
