Roster change and role

cairne joins NiP as a rifler following the decision to bench Michel “ewjerkz” Pinto.

The move is aimed at filling gaps in aggressive roles that the team had struggled to stabilize in recent months.

Recent form and results

In 2025, cairne played nearly 300 maps with solid individual ratings.

He won the Level Up LUND! tournament and delivered strong performances at ESL Pro League Season 22.

Debut expectations

His official debut for Ninjas in Pyjamas is expected during the online stage of BLAST Bounty Winter 2026, with a match against Team Liquid, likely around January 12–13.

Ninjas in Pyjamas roster after the signing

  • Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer — IGL
  • Rasmus “sjuush” Beck
  • Artem “r1nkle” Moroz
  • Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara (loan)
  • Artem “cairne” Mushynskyi — rifler
  • Richard “Xizt” Landström — coach

Situation with Inner Circle

Inner Circle officially parted ways with cairne after he signed with NiP while still under contract with TNL/IC. As a result, IC management did not include him in the final lineup ahead of BLAST Bounty and signed another Ukrainian player, Arseniy “cptkurtka023” Derevynskyi, as his replacement.

Community reaction and controversy

  • Former teammate Ilya “Ganginho” Chernichenko publicly accused cairne of dishonest behavior, claiming he played over 30 maps with radar assistance and intentionally threw matches. No evidence has been provided to support these claims.
  • Inner Circle representatives stated that NiP’s signing occurred before buyout negotiations with TNL were completed, which led to cairne’s departure from IC lineups.
