Astralis eyeing Magisk as potential replacement for stavn

According to @neLendirekt, after missing out on five Majors in a row, Danish organization Astralis is looking for ways to stabilize their roster. With the arrival of Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen last June to replace Casper “cadiaN” Møller, the team has found a more stable path. Currently ranked 9th in the VRS standings, Astralis is set to return to the Major, opening new opportunities to strengthen the lineup.

Sources in collaboration with HLTV report that Emil “Magisk” Reif, currently benched by Falcons, has attracted strong interest from Astralis. The Danish organization is considering him as a potential replacement for Martin “stavn” Lund, whose future with the team remains uncertain after a disappointing spell.

Magisk is one of the most decorated players in Counter-Strike history. He has won four Majors — three with Astralis and one with Team Vitality — and has been included several times in HLTV’s top 20 players worldwide. Known for his versatility and consistent performance, he can adapt to different roles within a team and deliver crucial victories.

Magisk is still under contract with Falcons, but a possible release could pave the way for a return to the team where he built his career and won legendary titles.

For now, Astralis is exploring options to bring more stability and experience to the roster, and Magisk fits that profile perfectly. However, no final decision has been made yet, as nothing has been signed.
