ESL Unveils 2025 CS2 Tournament Schedule and Format Changes

Tournament organizer ESL has revealed the schedule for its CS2 tournaments in 2025, with the announcement posted on the company's official website.

In total, ESL will host seven major tournaments throughout 2025. The first kicks off in late January, and the final event will wrap up in early November.

• IEM Katowice 2025 — Poland — January 29 to February 9
• ESL Pro League Season 21 — Europe — February 25 to March 16
• IEM Spring 2025 — Location TBD — April 21 to April 27
• IEM Dallas 2025 — USA — May 19 to May 25
• IEM Cologne 2025 — Germany — July 23 to August 3
• ESL Pro League Season 22 — Europe — September 23 to October 12
• IEM Chengdu 2025 — China — November 3 to November 9

In addition to the schedule, ESL has also announced some changes to the format of the ESL Pro League. The number of teams will be reduced to 24, grand finals will now be played as best-of-five series, and the group stage will feature two phases, both played using the Swiss system.
