Former Ukrainian national team footballer Yevhen Konoplyanka shared insights on the criteria for selecting players for his eSports team, kONO.ECF.

Konoplyanka emphasized the high standards and ambitious goals set for his team. "Our aspirations are lofty," he said. "As surprising as it may seem, I always aim high, both in traditional sports and eSports. Our objective is to become a tier 1 team and experience what competing in a major tournament is like."

He highlighted the importance of continuous improvement and teamwork among the players. "We will be closely monitoring the progress of our players," he explained. "They must strive to improve daily, understanding each other better with each passing day. Without progress, similar to professional football, we will have to make some changes."

Despite the challenges, Konoplyanka remains optimistic. "We are making steady progress toward our goals," he noted. "However, life is unpredictable. Take s1mple, for instance; he is currently without a team. Even B1ad3 mentioned in an interview that s1mple might have to start with a tier 3 team now."

Konoplyanka concluded by expressing openness to new opportunities. "If B1ad3 is willing to release Sasha, we would certainly consider that option," he added.
