BC.Game benches two players — roster changes involving s1mple
The esports organization BC.Game Esports has officially announced roster changes to its Counter-Strike 2 lineup. Portuguese players Christopher “MUTiRiS” Fernandes and António “aragornN” Barbosa have been moved to the bench.
The decision comes after the team’s underwhelming results in 2026. According to the organization, these changes are part of a planned roster evaluation, as the squad failed to meet expectations and struggled to consistently compete at a high level.
MUTiRiS and aragornN joined BC.Game earlier this year alongside part of the former SAW lineup, but the project did not deliver the expected results. The team showed inconsistent performances across tournaments, including a disappointing run at PGL Bucharest, where they managed to win only one series.
At the moment, the active roster includes:
- Alexander “s1mple” Kostyliev
- Denis “electroNic” Sharipov
- Adones “krazy” Nobre
- Coach Wiktor “TaZ” Wojtas
The organization has not yet revealed who will replace the benched players. It is only known that BC.Game has limited time to rebuild its roster ahead of upcoming events, including IEM Atlanta 2026.
As a result, the team built around s1mple enters another rebuilding phase, aiming to find the optimal lineup to return to the top tier of the CS2 scene.
