XTQZZZ Becomes a Free Agent: Potential Vitality Return to Replace zonic in the Works
Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam is now a free agent as TSM has officially released him from his contract, according to an announcement made by the organization.
Reports suggest that Vitality has approached XTQZZZ as a potential replacement for Danny "zonic" Sørensen, who is set to depart from the organization on November 1, as indicated by retired French professional player Sebastien "KRL" Perez.
XTQZZZ, the 34-year-old coach, was credited with shaping the new TSM lineup, which was formally established on August 29. Previously, there were disputes regarding verbal agreements between the organization, its players, and XTQZZZ, which led to rumors of his departure. However, it appeared that an amicable resolution was reached, leading to the signing of the lineup a month later.
Now, XTQZZZ has expressed his desire to leave the project. Assistant coach Lambert "Lambert" Prigent will step in temporarily as the organization evaluates its options for the head coach position.
This development coincides with the news that zonic will no longer serve as the coach of Vitality starting November 1, as he and sports psychologist/performance manager Lars Christian Robl will be joining Falcons.
XTQZZZ previously held the position of head coach at Vitality from December 2018 to 2021 before making the move to G2. However, with Vitality undergoing changes and welcoming Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen, Emil "Magisk" Reif and zonic from Astralis, reports suggest that XTQZZZ may return to Vitality to take over zonic's role, with discussions reportedly underway as of October 5, according to KRL.
