Twistzz on s1mple: "His response to Valve was indeed less than ideal"
FaZe Clan player Russell "Twistzz" Van Dulken has shared his perspective on CS2. He noted that there are certain issues in the game, but he emphasized that Valve is continually working to address them. It's important to highlight that this esports athlete does not share the same opinion as Alexander "s1mple" Kostylev regarding reaching out to the developers.
We like CS 2 because it's a new game, and transitioning to it is our duty. We adapt to it and accept it as it is – that's the professional mindset. We're getting used to certain mechanics, such as changes in smokes and open skyboxes, which allow players to express maximum creativity.
Sometimes, CS 2 still feels somewhat imperfect. For instance, there are minor issues with smokes: from the perspective of CT and T, the smoke looks different. But overall, the game is good. It's clear that it has sparked a strong negative reaction within the community. I just want to say that we need to give the game time to develop.
I'm not sure if I can talk about this publicly, but Valve has asked esports players to share their opinions. S1mple already discussed it on his stream, but his response wasn't ideal. Nevertheless, Valve is making an effort. I believe this is the company's first experience in engaging with professional teams and striving to improve the game.

Previously, s1mple revealed that Valve had contacted him regarding issues in CS2. However, he chose not to respond to the developers' message, as there are already numerous reviews of the game on the internet. This decision has generated mixed reactions within the gaming community.
