Insiders: Valve may bring back Train map in CS2

Traces of the Train map were discovered in the CS2 file system. Maxim "Gabe Follower" Poltayev, who conducted the datamining, shared this information.

Textures have been found that could be part of a remake or visual update of de_train.

Train was removed from the competitive map pool in 2021 but remained in CS:GO until the end, yet it wasn't included in CS 2. However, developers showcased this map in trailers for the second installment, hinting at a possible return.

In early November, one of the fans added the Train map to the CS 2 workshop, including an old version from the previous game. However, some elements relying on the Source 2 engine do not function on this version.
