CS 2 is not compatible with the macOS operating system, and gamers are offered the opportunity to request a refund for their Prime status
Valve Studio has announced that the official release of CS 2 will not be available to users with computers running macOS. This shooter will exclusively support 64-bit versions of Windows and Linux. Valve Studio has published information regarding the supported platforms.
However, for macOS users who have Prime status and have not been banned, an opportunity has arisen to request a refund until December 1, 2023. This option is available to those who have spent a significant amount of time playing on Apple devices and have launched the game during the period between CS 2's beta testing and its official release.
Additionally, Valve has introduced an outdated version of CS:GO for all supported platforms. The primary feature of this legacy client is the absence of player matchmaking.
