In CS 2, an update was released in which hitboxes were fixed
Valve has released an update for CS 2. Developers have paid attention to bugs and errors that were affecting the gameplay.
On October 10, 2023, players complained about the inaccurate performance of hitboxes in Counter-Strike 2. Because of this, headshots were not being properly registered in the game. Characters could also avoid taking damage while moving. Additionally, the hitbox did not tilt with the character when they looked down.
Valve quickly responded to the community's feedback and released an update that fixed these issues. Now, hitboxes work correctly, allowing players to enjoy a more precise and fair gaming experience in CS 2.
The changes introduced in the CS 2 patch from October 10th include the following points:
- Alignment issues with hitboxes have been resolved.
- Various fixes have been implemented for the maps Nuke, Mirage, and Vertigo.
- An issue where characters' legs appeared black during aiming has been fixed.
- The correct knife rotation speed, in line with CS:GO standards, has been reinstated.
- An error that could interrupt the suppressor switch animation during weapon inspection has been addressed.
