Official: Sprout removes refrezh from starting roster
The German esports organization Sprout has announced a reshuffle in the starting lineup for the CS:GO discipline. As a result, refrezh left the main squad of the team, giving way to Zyphon, who had been inactive for the past two weeks. It is reported that the changes are caused by a difference in views about the future of the project.
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to refrezh leaving our main line-up. Due to different views on the project, we agreed to include it in the list of transfers. We are grateful to him for his commitment and memories, especially for our performance at the Major. With that said, Zyphon is back in the starting roster. As for the search for a new captain, we are actively testing candidates and will keep you updated on our progress at the end of the week.
refrezh joined the Sprout roster last summer, having moved from the Heroic camp. During this time, the 25-year-old Dane made it to the top three at Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A, Elisa Masters Espoo 2022, ESL Challenger League Season 43: Europe and ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022.
However, at the beginning of the new season, the German club decided to make changes in the composition, as a result of which Zyphon was sent to inactive. However, refrezh, who was previously team captain, resigned from his role due to speech impediments. As part of recent tournaments, Sprout tested a new IGL represented by Maze, but after a failure in qualifying for the Intel Extreme Masters Rio 2023, they decided to continue their search.
Currently, the Danish-Romanian team is participating in the ESL Challenger League Season 44: Europe and BetBoom Playlist. Urbanistic, and is also preparing for the start of BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023: European RMR A.
