hyped becomes a member of the BIG main roster
The German esports organization BIG has officially completed its CS:GO roster, introducing hyped as a member of the main team. The 21-year-old German sniper replaced syrsoN in the starting squad, who left the team two weeks ago and was transferred to the bench.
By mutual agreement with syrsoN, we have jointly agreed that he will go to the bench until further notice. As a replacement, hyped will take his place in the starting lineup. With his excellent performance at the BIG Academy, he deserved the opportunity to show what he can do, especially after a key performance in IEM Rio 2023 qualifiers.
hyped spent last season with the BIG Academy, where he moved in March 2022 from the Sissi State Punks camp. Together with the team, the 21-year-old German sniper became the winner of Y-Games PRO Series 2022, BIG Academy Hunt #18 and ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2022, and also made it to the top three at WePlay Academy League Season 3, WePlay Academy League Season 4, WePlay Academy League Season 5 and Fragadelphia 17.
However, at the beginning of February, BIG announced roster changes, after which the young esportsman got his chance in the main team. Together with hyped, the German team managed to qualify for IEM Rio 2023, which had an impact on the leadership of the organization.
The next championship for the team will be the CCT West Europe Series #1, where BIG received a direct invite to the playoffs. In addition, the German team is preparing for the start of the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 17, where they will play with Complexity Gaming next week.
