Machinegun led Team NKT roster
Thailand's eSports organization Team NKT has announced the appointment of Machinegun as the head coach of its CS:GO roster. The 32-year-old Mongolian specialist will replace MAIROLLS, who left the team at the end of last year. The former The MongolZ player will try himself in a new role and lead the team in the open qualifiers for the Intel Extreme Masters Spring 2023 for Asia.
Meet our new Mongolian CS:GO coach: Machinegun. With a wealth of experience from his past as a player, Machinegun will strategically strengthen our team and help us achieve better results.
Machinegun is a fairly well-known player in the vastness of Central Asia. Playing for The MongolZ team, he managed to win E-Frag Rising Stars Asia, Intel Extreme Masters X - Taipei and E-Frag Rising Stars - Promotional Cup SEA, as well as get into the top three at Razer Rising Stars Season 1: South-East Asia and World Cyber Arena 2017 - Asia-Pacific.
However, in May last year, the 32-year-old announced his retirement from professional football. In turn, Team NKT performed for quite a long time without a head coach, since MAIROLLS left his position back in November. However, the organization has done a great job in the transfer market, having managed to acquire BnTeT and Senzu.
Currently, the Mongolian team is participating in MESA League Season 3 and ESL Challenger League Season 44: Asia-Pacific. In addition, the team started its journey in the open qualifiers for Intel Extreme Masters Spring 2023 for Asia.
