Official: buster replaces interz as part of Cloud9

The North American esports organization Cloud9 has officially announced changes to its CS:GO roster. As a result, buster joined the team and replaced interz. The debut of the newcomer will take place as part of the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023.

We are entering the 2023 season with a new roster. Please welcome buster as he replaces Interz in our starting lineup.

interz was the connecting element of the Gambit Youngsters and Gambit Esports rosters. Joining the team in April 2019, the 22-year-old defensive midfielder has come a long way, which eventually led to signing with organization Cloud9.

Together with the interz team, we managed to win many championships, including Intel Extreme Masters XV - World Championship, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Summer, BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2021, V4 Future Sports Festival - Budapest 2021, Funspark ULTI 2021 and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Dallas, as well as get into the TOP-3 at ESL Pro League Season 13, PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2021.

In turn, buster became famous thanks to his performances for the AVANGAR team, with which he sensationally reached the finals of StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, and also won the BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019. Already at the end of 2019, the promising roster was signed by Virtus.pro, for which the 23-year-old Kazakh player played until May last year.

Under the new tag, buster managed to win Flashpoint Season 2, DreamHack Open December 2020, cs_summit 7 and ESL Challenger #48, as well as reach the final of the Intel Extreme Masters XV - World Championship. Nevertheless, last spring, the esportsman left the starting lineup of the team, but recently announced his desire to return.

The debut of the updated Cloud9 roster will take place as part of the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023, which will begin at the end of January. Here the team will take part in the Play-In stage, where they will compete for one of eight tickets to the group stage of the competition.
