Infinity Esports disbanded the roster and left CS:GO
According to the Dust2 portal, the Costa Rican esports organization Infinity Esports said goodbye to its CS:GO roster and left the discipline. As the journalists managed to find out, the decision was connected with a change in the structure of the club, but not with bad results of the team. As a result, Infinity Esports has decided not to renew the contracts of players who are now free agents. At the same time, the Latin American roster will continue to perform together under an independent tag.
The previous roster of Infinity Esports has lasted since 2019, but has undergone changes during each of the seasons. However, in its backbone, the team managed to win La Liga Season 3: Norte & Centro Pro Division - Apertura, Liga Pro Gaming Season 5, FiReLEAGUE 2020: Cluster Centro, La Liga Season 3: Norte & Centro Pro Division - Clausura, WESG 2021 Latin America: LatAM North and Red League 2022 Northern Cone, as well as take part in the Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: American RMR.
The decision to part ways with their CS:GO team came as a surprise as Infinity Esports moved the team to a practice house in Mexico City back in August to address longstanding ping issues. As former team players assure, they plan to stick together, but risk running into problems without organizational support.
Now the composition will have to solve momentary problems. First of all, alone will not be able to serve as a head coach for a long time, since he simultaneously works at the club as head of the FPS division. Also, the team may experience difficulties in further performances from Mexico.
