Rumors: HEET will rebuild roster due to financial problems and lack of results
According to well-known insider neL, the Belgian esports organization HEET will be rebuilding its CS:GO roster. This decision is directly related to the weak results of the team, as well as the serious financial problems of the club itself.
Recall that last week the French streamer KRL said that HEET owed its players about €100,000. The club did not pay for the buyout of JACKZ from G2 Esports and owed money to the player who bought out the contract with the former organization on his own. In turn, bodyy does not receive the required salary for several months.
In light of future changes, the organization plans to release afro to LDLC. What awaits the other members of the team is unknown. At the same time, HEET withdrew from all upcoming championships, only bringing the possible closing of the roster closer.
Given the recent news, and the factual confirmation of neL's financial problems, HEET will have to rack their brains to keep the French project, which is one of the strongest in the local scene, at least in some form.
It is not known when the Belgian club will make an official statement about the future of HEET. The team managed to withdraw from the ESL Pro League Season 17: European Conference, where they were supposed to play with Partizan Esports in the first round. It is likely that decisions on the part of the club will be made in the coming days in order to release the players before the start of major events.
Current HEET CS:GO roster:
- bodyy
- afro
- Djoko
- Ex3rcice
- JACKZ
- matHEND (coach)
- Lucky (inactive)
