Official: KaiR0N- Joins Outsiders

Virtus.pro esports club, playing under the Outsiders tag, has announced changes to its CS:GO roster. As a result, n0rb3r7 left the team's starting roster to make room for KaiR0N-. The 18-year-old player will make his debut for the team at the upcoming Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023.

A historic victory in Rio was followed by a humiliating defeat in Abu Dhabi. We realized that the team needed changes that would allow us to keep our style of play, while not allowing opponents to adapt to us. Therefore, we have decided to temporarily allow David to focus on his individual form, while KaiR0N- takes his place in the active roster.

This decision was made by the owners and management of the club after consultations with the coaching staff. By signing KaiR0N- and retaining the contract with n0rb3r7, the roster gets the flexibility it needs, the ability to rotate, and remains robust, which is unattainable with a stand-in model.

n0rb3r7 has been playing for the Outsiders since last June, having moved to the roster from the K23 camp. In six months, a 21-year-old player from Armenia helped the team win ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022, as well as reach the finals of ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia 2022.

In turn, KaiR0N- previously played for eClub Brugge, Spirit Academy, INDE IRAE and Aurora Gaming. Last fall, the esportsman also took part in the Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A.

Reported. that n0rb3r7 will stay with the team, going to the bench to "improve his individual game". As such, the team is signing a sixth player to maintain flexibility going forward.

The next tournament for the Outsiders will be Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023, where the team will start their performances from the group stage. Immediately after that, the team will go to Malta, where they will take part in the ESL Pro League Season 17.
