woxic left Eternal Fire and became a free agent
Famous Turkish sniper woxic has announced his retirement from Eternal Fire as a free agent. On his Twitter, the 24-year-old esportsman spoke about the end of the contract with the club, one of the founders of which is himself.
I have new goals for 2023! My contract with Eternal Fire has come to an end. Now I am a free agent and I want to find a new team. I have a huge thirst for victories and motivation to prove once again what I am capable of! Thank you Eternal Fire for this wonderful experience we shared.
woxic made a name for himself back when he was playing for MOUZ, where he managed to win DreamHack Open Tours 2019, CS:GO Asia Championships 2019, ESL Pro League Season 10 - Finals and ICE Challenge 2020, as well as take 12th place in the list of the best players 2019 year.
Following the 24-year-old Turkish sniper tried to develop a career in Cloud9, but a few months later he left the team and became a free agent. Woxic had to wait half a year for further appearance on the scene, when he, together with XANTARES, founded the Eternal Fire organization and built a powerful Turkish line-up.
Here, an experienced esportsman became the winner of ESA Esports Supremes 2021, ESL Türkiye Şampiyonası: Summer 2021, ESA Esports Supremes Spring 2022 and ESL Türkiye Şampiyonası: Winter 2022, and also got into the TOP-3 at REPUBLEAGUE Season 2, Pinnacle Cup IV and ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022.
However, last autumn woxic unexpectedly left the Eternal Fire roster , declaring their desire to try their hand at the international team again. Since then, the sniper has not appeared on the scene, apparently waiting for the end of the contract with his club.
