Twistzz became "Pistol King" at the end of 2022

The authoritative portal HLTV continues to acquaint us with the results of the past season. In another selection, the editorial team presented the best players of 2022 in the pistol rounds. The leader of the rating was Twistzz, who finished the season with a rating of 1.38 for 122 cards played.

It is noteworthy that Twistzz interrupted the three-year dominance of ZywOo, who became the best player in the world in the pistol rounds in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

The same ZywOo is on the second line - sniper Vitality played in pistol rounds with a rating of 1.32, having played 90 maps. It is followed by frozen, which has a rating of 1.30 in its assets.

In fourth place is b1t. Despite the general decline in the past season, the young NAVI player performed well in the pistol rounds, finishing the year with a 1.28 rating. sh1ro boasts a similar result - Cloud9's sniper lost to bt1 only in terms of the number of cards played (107 for b1t versus 78 for sh1ro).

The following esportsmen also received mention: dycha (1.24), rain (1.24), huNter- (1.24), Perfecto (1.24), stavn (1.23), s1mple (1.23), broky (1.23) and SunPayus (1.23).

TOP 5 best pistol players of 2022:

  • Twistzz (FaZe Clan) - 1.38
  • ZywOo (Team Vitality) - 1.32
  • frozen (MOUZ) - 1.30
  • b1t (NAVI) — 1.28
  • sh1ro (Cloud9) - 1.28

Interestingly, of the thirteen players featured, five of them turned out to be snipers. Also on the list was a place for the classic defensive midfielder Perfecto, who, together with two other representatives of the NAVI team, turned out to be the leader in terms of overall representation on a par with FaZe Clan (three players each).

Recall that the day before, the HLTV editors also presented a list of players whose achievements in online tournaments were more noticeable than in LAN events. In addition, a list of teams with the longest streak without winning major championships was presented.
