Marketing director of ENCE summed up the year for the club
Jona Leppänen, Marketing Director of the Finnish esports organization ENCE, summed up the results of 2022. In particular, he noted the growth of a number of target indicators, and also noted the achievements of the CS:GO roster, which at its peak was in the top three teams in the world ranking.
2022 has been a great growth year for ENCE and the best in our history in many ways as a company.
- Many new faces joined our staff
- We launched our academic program and had a great first year
- Overall a good year in CS:GO, equaling our highest ranking ever
- The largest turnover in the history of the company
- And many other things that I could list here
This is primarily due to the dedicated team we have built in the office, true heroes who make ENCE what it is. Let's have a great 2023.
It should be noted that last season ENCE became the winner of Fantasyexpo EU Champions: Spring 2022 and CCT North Europe Series #2, and also got into the top three at the end of Pinnacle Winter Series #2, ESL Pro League Season 15, PGL Major Antwerp 2022, Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Dallas, Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR B and ESL Challenger at DreamHack Rotterdam 2022.
In addition, the club turned out several successful transfers. In particular, in the summer, the Finnish organization sold Spinx to Vitality, and also said goodbye to the hades sniper in order to sign contracts with valde and SunPayus.
The peak for the team is the spring part of the season, when ENCE fought on equal terms with FaZe Clan and for two months was in the top three teams in the world ranking. Now the team is preparing for the start of the new season, which will begin as part of the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023.
