Iron Blood Gaming said goodbye to their roster
The North American esports organization Iron Blood Gaming has decided to part ways with its CS:GO roster. This is reported by the regional office of the Dust2 portal, citing its own sources. It is reported that the club did not renew the contracts of its players, despite impressive results over the past three months.
Iron Blood Gaming assembled its CS:GO roster in September by signing the timbermen team. In three months, the North American team became the winner of ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Autumn 2022 #1, DreamHack Beyond 2022 Cup #3 and DreamHack Beyond 2022 Cup #6, and also got into the TOP-3 at ESEA Cash Cup: North America - Summer 2022 #6 and DreamHack Beyond 2022 Cup #4.
However, Iron Blood Gaming was noted for its performances in the ESL Challenger League, where it managed to take 5-6th place in the last two seasons. As a result, the organization's decision not to renew the contract with the team came as a surprise, as the team has been quite successful in the past three months.
According to Michael Jenkins, owner of Iron Blood Gaming, the club decided to move away from CS:GO towards other esports disciplines. However, the leader reported the organization's likely return to Valve 's discipline.
In turn, Dust2 sources said that there were some disagreements between the club and the team. In particular, Iron Blood Gaming was unhappy with players due to weak brand promotion efforts on their social media.
Now the former players of Iron Blood Gaming will continue to play under the same tag timbermen. It is expected that the next championship for the North American team will be ESL Challenger League Season 44: North America.
