sjuush extends contract with Heroic until the end of 2024
Danish esports organization Heroic has announced a contract extension with its player sjuush. As a result, the 23-year-old Danish player will remain at the club for two more seasons, until the end of 2024.
He's here to stay - we're happy to announce that sjuush has signed us for another two years! The renewal with sjuush means our core of five players will stay together for years to come. We can't wait to see what we can achieve in 2023!
sjuush joined Heroic in February 2021 from MAD Lions. In two seasons, the 23-year-old Dane helped the team win ESL Pro League Season 13, Pinnacle Winter Series #3, PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR A, Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022 and BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022, and also get into the top three at PGL Major Stockholm 2021, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice and Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022.
I am pleased to announce that I have signed a contract for another two years. Can't wait for 2023 to start,” sjuush wrote.
Note that the season for the Danish team is officially over. While Heroic failed at the group stage of BLAST Premier: World Final 2022, having suffered two defeats from OG and Natus Vincere, the next challenge for the team should be the traditional championship in Katowice.
It is noteworthy that this is the fourth extension, which follows similar signings of new contracts with cadiaN, stavn and TeSeS. Moreover, only last summer the organization signed Jabbi, intending to stay in the current roster for as long as possible.
Heroic's current CS:GO roster:
- stavn
- cadiaN
- TeSeS
- sjuush
- Jabby
- Xizt (head coach)
- SheddaN (second coach)
