Rumors: BLAST will hold one of the next season's tournaments in Montpellier
According to the aAa portal, the BLAST tournament operator intends to organize one of the next BLAST Premier CS:GO championships in Montpellier, France. Probably, the event will be timed to coincide with the major in Paris, which was officially confirmed a few months ago.
The event will reportedly be held at the same location as the ESL Pro League Season 9: Finals in 2019.
As the source assures, the capital of the Herault department has achieved the holding of the BLAST Premier series event in 2023. As with the event that took place in the city four years earlier, Montpellier will once again host a major event this coming season.
It can be assumed that BLAST's intention to organize the championship in France is a common strategy for attracting attention to BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Moreover, open qualifiers for the tournament will be held in February-March, while the main event will take place in May.
