Rumors: buster is a candidate for interz in Cloud9
According to the HLTV portal, the North American esports organization Cloud9 is showing interest in the candidacy of buster. The 22-year-old Kazakh player could be a replacement for interz, who are rumored to be preparing to leave the team during the off-season.
buster has long been a member of the AVANGAR roster, which was signed by Virtus.pro at the end of 2019. Together with the team, the 22-year-old player became the winner of the CIS Minor Championship - Katowice 2019, DreamHack Open Rio de Janeiro 2019, BLAST Pro Series: Moscow 2019, Flashpoint Season 2, DreamHack Open December 2020, cs_summit 7 and ESL Challenger #48, and also took second place according to the results of StarLadder Berlin Major 2019 and Intel Extreme Masters XV - World Championship.
However, after the end of PGL Major Antwerp 2022, the esportsman left the starting roster of the Outsiders. Since then, buster has been repeatedly matched with NAVI, but the player himself showed up only recently, when he announced his readiness to return to the competitive scene.
Note that HLTV sources also confirmed Cloud9's interest in the Forester and SANJI candidacies, which were previously reported by the OverDrive insider.
The next events for Cloud9 are Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023 and ESL Pro League Season 17, which will start in February and March, respectively. However, there is a possibility that the team will appear at some championship earlier, where it will try to test the updated roster. In any case, the organization has enough time to decide on the future of its composition and make appropriate changes.
