ESL unveil plans for ESL Impact development for 2023
Tournament operator ESL has unveiled plans for the development of ESL Impact, the women's competitive CS:GO ecosystem, for 2023. Next season the circuit will see two full seasons with three LAN events in Katowice, Dallas and Hannover.
It's amazing to see how having the right infrastructure has already helped countless women focus on what they love and take their skills to the next level. From individual women dramatically improving their gameplay to some of the major esports organizations investing in an all-female roster, there have already been more success stories in 2022 than we could have imagined. And we look forward to leveling the track even more in 2023 and beyond.
The tournament season will open with ESL Impact, which will be held as part of IEM in Katowice - the championship will take place from February 10 to 12. After two open qualifiers in December, the top two teams from Europe, North America and South America will meet in a separate event during IEM Katowice 2023.
Next up is ESL Impact League Season 3, which will take place online from March to April. The top eight teams from Europe, North and South America will compete in their regional online league. Well, the top two teams from each region will advance to the Global Finals.
ESL Impact League Season 3 Global Finals will take place in Dallas. Here, the best teams from all five regions will go head-to-head in front of a live audience, competing for a share of the $150,000 total prize pool.
ESL Impact League Season 4 will be held online from September to October. The organizers will offer the same format as in the previous season.
Well, the ESL Impact League Season 4 Global Finals will end the season, which will be held from December 15 to 17 in Hannover. The best teams from their regions will gather here and compete for a share of the total prize pool of $150,000.
