ESL trolled Brazilian fans with reference to 1:7 from Germany at the 2014 World Cup

Tournament operator ESL changed the HUD during the match between NAVI and Bad News Eagles at IEM Rio Major 2022. With the score 7:1 in favor of the "Born to Win" on the Ancient map, the organizers set up the flags of Germany and Brazil, thereby trolling Brazilian fans with a reference to 1:7 from the German national football team at the 2014 World Cup.

Speaking of football, Brazil is considered to be one of the most passionate countries where this sport is most popular. However, that defeat by Germany with a score of 1:7 was extremely painful for local fans who watched Mundial at home.

Returning to IEM Rio Major 2022, NAVI defeated Bad News Eagles 2:0 and made it to the fifth round of the Legends stage. In turn, the Kosovar team left the championship.
