Team Spirit will conduct its own investigation into w0nderful

The Russian-Serbian esports organization Team Spirit issued an official statement confirming the launch of an investigation process against w0nderful. In addition, in parallel with ESIC, the club will conduct its own investigation and will help the Commission in every possible way to achieve the honesty of the final verdict.

Recently, Team Spirit player Igor "w0nderful" Zhdanov became the subject of discussion in the community in connection with the publication of details of the investigation conducted by ESIC. Team Spirit has always stood for fair play; the organization is aware of the allegations against Igor and is cooperating fully with ESIC while conducting an internal investigation. We express our gratitude to Alexey "yarabeu" Kurlov for advice and assistance in this process.

Recall that last month, yarabeu, who introduced himself as a former employee of ESIC, presented a long list of players who appeared in fake matches. Among them was w0nderful, the sniper of Team Spirit. Among other things, he claimed that he had previously been the owner of the MAJESTY team, where Ukrainians paid for participation in fixed matches.

Recall that w0nderful became a Team Spirit player in June 2022. In four months, the young sniper helped the team win FiReLEAGUE 2022: Global Finals, as well as take fourth place in the Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A.

Currently, the team is preparing to start at Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022, as well as after that they will play at ESL Challenger League Season 43: Europe.
