MYM steps down as Team NKT head coach
Thailand's eSports organization Team NKT has announced its parting ways with MYM, the head coach of its CS:GO roster. Recall that the 28-year-old Thai specialist has been working with the team since the formation of the club in the spring of 2021.
Today we say goodbye to MYM, who was the head coach of the CS:GO team. Thank you for being part of this journey with us and we wish you all the best for the future. We ask our fans to continue to support and follow Coach MYM in all his future endeavours.
MYM took over Team NKT in May 2021 when the organization was reorganized following the demise of NG Esports. Over the next year and a half, the 28-year-old Thai specialist helped the team win Funspark ULTI 2021: Asia Season 2, Funspark ULTI 2021: Asian Playoffs #1, eXTREMESLAND Festival 2021 and MESA Nomadic Masters: Spring 2022, and also take part in BLAST Premier: Spring Europe Showdown 2022.
However, under his leadership, the team failed to qualify for a single major, remaining on the sidelines over and over again after being eliminated from the open qualifiers.
Currently, the Mongolian team is preparing to debut in the playoffs of ESL Challenger League Season 42: Asia-Pacific. In the quarterfinals, Team NKT will play against Aravt.
