neaLaN: "Every match we'll get better and better"

neaLaN, who is the captain of Evil Geniuses, commented on the team's first victory in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16. During a conversation with the organizers of the championship, the Kazakh player expressed hope that the North American team would play stronger with each match. In addition, neaLaN said a few words about his adaptation to the team.

When we first started training, it was hard for me to communicate in English. Now everything is much better. We are progressing, moving forward and with each match we will get better. In general, the entire composition of Evil Geniuses helps me with the duties of the captain. HexT, CeRq, Brehze support me and often come up with ideas in the middle of rounds.

Recall that the day before, the Evil Geniuses team beat Eternal Fire with a score of 2:0 in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16. Based on the results of three rounds, the North American team has three points.

ESL Pro League Season 16 runs from August 31st to October 2nd in Malta at the Salini Resort. 24 teams from Europe, CIS, North and South America compete for a total prize pool of $835,000. The winner of the tournament will receive the main prize of $175,000, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023.
