Infinity and Team oNe eSports to perform at IEM Road to Rio 2022 for America

The penultimate game day has come to an end as part of the third North American open qualifier for IEM Road to Rio 2022 for America, as a result of which Infinity and Team One eSports secured participation in the upcoming RMR tournament. As a result, both teams completed the composition of the IEM Road to Rio 2022 participants, leaving the question of the winner of the qualifiers open.

During the qualification, the Mexican team Infinity managed to outplay Sensitive kittens (16:7), Mythic (16:8), timbermen (16:13) and Pete's Hookah Lounge (2:0), thus gaining the right to play in the RMR tournament. In turn, the Brazilians from Team oNe eSports turned out to be stronger than Floripa Stars US (16:4), Vendetta (16:9), Unjustified Gaming (16:13) and BHOP Esports (2:0) in the qualifiers, thus also hitting at IEM Road to Rio 2022 for America.

The teams will now face each other to play out the best seed possible. In turn, the Pete's Hookah Lounge and BHOP Esports teams, which will determine the reserve participant of the RMR tournament.

The third open North American qualifier for the IEM Road to Rio 2022 for the Americas runs from September 3rd to 5th online.

The RMR tournament for teams from North and South America will take place from 5 to 9 October in Stockholm. As part of the championship, six tickets to IEM Rio Major 2022 will be raffled off.
