FalleN donates $200 to Brazilian politician's campaign
Famous Brazilian CS:GO player Gabriel 'FalleN' Toledo publicly continues to support Brazilian congressman Kim Katagiri from Sao Paulo. The latter publicly thanked FalleN for his support.
Neither FalleN nor Kim Katagiri have released details of the donation amount.
Even though neither FalleN nor Kim revealed this information, Dust2 Brasil discovered the donation amount after investigation. The Brazilian branch of the Dust 2 publishing house found out that the legendary sniper donated not so much, namely 1,000 Brazilian reais, which is equivalent to an amount of ~$200.
After FalleN and Kim Katagiri exchanged pleasantries, many CS:GO fans jumped into the conversation and poured fly in the ointment. They denied the fact that the Brazilian sniper performs well on the professional stage. Another part of the audience could not forget that Katagiri was recently embroiled in a scandal when, during a podcast, he called the criminalization of Nazism in Germany a mistaken act. Although he later apologized, the Internet, as they say, remembers everything.
Kim Katagiri is a rather unusual Brazilian politician. Instead of having a serious face and meeting diplomatic standards, he tries to be closer to the community, especially the gaming community. On his Twitter account, he indicated that he is an otaku and a gamer, and uploads various entertainment material to his YouTube channel.
Note: An otaku is a person who has a strong passion for something. The word was coined in Japan and is usually expressed in relation to people who have a particular fondness for anime and manga.
This is not the first time FalleN has been publicly woven into the field of analytics. 3 years ago, he recorded a video of how he made a call to Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and asked him to reduce taxes on video games.
