chelo is a new Imperial Esports player
The Brazilian esports organization Imperial Esports has announced the strengthening of its CS:GO roster by signing a contract with chelo. The 24-year-old Brazilian player joins the team after a year and a half with MIBR. According to rumors, the organization bought out the esportsman's contract from a competitor for $200,000.
chelo spent a year and a half with the MIBR team. Here, the 24-year-old Brazilian managed to win CBCS Elite League Season 1, ESEA Season 39: Advanced Division - North America, ESL Challenger League Season 40: North America and ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, and also get into the top three winners according to the results of Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Fall: South America, CBCS Finals 2021, PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR and BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2022.
At the same time, the esportsman managed to try on the role of the team captain, since in the spring MIBR announced the breakup with WOOD7 and reshuffled duties.
In turn, the Imperial Esports organization has taken seriously its roster in the off-season. First of all, the team refused the services of a peacemaker coach, after which they transferred fnx to the role of head coach/streamer.
