RUSH and stanislaw join Evil Geniuses

North American esports organization Evil Geniuses has announced changes to its second CS:GO roster, welcoming RUSH and stanislaw. Both players will be part of Carpe Diem, which will be preparing for the start of the group stage of ESL Challenger League Season 42: North America.

As we welcome the return of stanislaw to our CS:GO roster, we are reuniting him with former ELEAGUE Season 2 champion teammate, RUSH, for the upcoming ESL Challenger League! We count on their leadership and experience to guide and develop the new talent pool of our CS program!

stanislaw has represented the colors of Evil Geniuses in the past, playing for the club between September 2019 and November 2021. During this time, the 28-year-old Canadian esportsman became the winner of ESL One: New York 2019, StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 8, Esports Championship Series Season 8 - North America, BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals, cs_summit 6 Online: North America and ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online - North America, and also made it to the top three of the winners of some of the largest tournaments, simultaneously taking the team to the first line of the world ranking.

In turn, RUSH played the last six months in the main lineup of Evil Geniuses. However, the team failed all the big tournaments, passing the major, as a result of which the 28-year-old American said goodbye to his place in the starting lineup. And yet, RUSH has enough performance experience, since up to this point the esportsman has proven himself in Cloud9 and Complexity Gaming.

The next championship for the Carpe Diem roster will be ESL Challenger League Season 42: North America, which starts next week. At the same time, it is not clear which team will play in the qualifiers for the Major, since the main team will have to travel to Europe to participate in BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022.
