NEKIZ Leaves PaiN Gaming Starting Roster
NEKIZ announced his departure from paiN Gaming 's starting roster. The 26-year-old Brazilian e-sportsman announced this on his Twitter, highlighting the decline in the performance of the team as the reason for his departure.
Hey guys, how are you? As of today, I no longer play paiN Gaming after 3 years. During this time, we were too inconsistent, and I think that if the team remains like this for a long time, something must change. Last season, I was not interested in how things are going in the team, for example, in and out of the game. There were arguments and discussions about how the team should work, and everything remained the same, no changes at all. It was then that I realized that something had to change.
I'm really happy that I can show my game by representing another organization, I thought about it during the season, and I'm sure I'll be a great fit for any team. Right now my focus is on the Rio Major and I will work hard to get to the championship.
NEKIZ has been part of paiN Gaming since the end of 2019. For almost three years spent in the team, the 26-year-old Brazilian esportsman managed to win DreamHack Open January 2021: North America, BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2022 and ESL Challenger League Season 41: North America, and also get into the top three at DreamHack Open March 2021: North America, ESEA Season 37: Premier Division - North America and DreamHack Open September 2021: North America, among others.
The last championship for NEKIZ as part of paiN Gaming was Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne, according to which the team took the last place and earned $2,500.
In the coming month, the Brazilian team will look for various options to strengthen its squad. Given the upcoming break, the organization will have enough time to prepare for the next championship, which will begin in mid-August.
From now on, the paiN Gaming CS:GO roster is as follows:
- PCL
- biguzera
- hardzao
- nython
- bruno (coach)
- NEKIZ (inactive)
