Brehze and CeRq to leave Evil Geniuses in September
According to the Dust2 portal, Brehze and CeRq may leave the Evil Geniuses organization in September of this year. Both esportsmen have not yet re-signed contracts with the club, and are unlikely to continue cooperation with the North American organization.
Brehze and CeRq became part of Evil Geniuses in the fall of 2019, when the organization signed the NRG roster. Having gone through several reconstructions, the duo became the winner of ESL One: New York 2019, ESL Pro League Season 10 - Americas, StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 8, Esports Championship Series Season 8 - North America, BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals and ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online - North America, and also made it to the top three at Esports Championship Series Season 8 - Finals, EPICENTER 2019, ESL Pro League Season 11: North America and Intel Extreme Masters XV - New York Online: North America, among others.
However, the team has been experiencing serious problems over the past year and a half, not achieving great results. Despite the club's best efforts to assemble a strong roster, it seems that Brehze and CeRq are tired and intend to leave Evil Geniuses.
Despite the poor individual form of e-sportsmen, they will certainly be in demand on the market. At the same time, CeRq may return to Europe to realize his ambitions in one of the Bulgarian teams.
Recall that in early June, the North American esports organization Evil Geniuses confirmed the purchase of two additional CS:GO rosters. The club announced the signing of Carpe Diem and Party Astronauts to form their new 15-player roster.
The Evil Geniuses CS:GO roster is currently as follows:
- Brehze.
- CeRq.
- Stewie2K.
- automatic.
- RUSH.
- ben1337.
- PwnAlone.
- djay.
- Johnji.
