nexa: "We tried to get YEKINDAR, but it would cost OG about $1 million to buy him out"
nexa, who is the captain of OG, told Pley.gg in an interview that the organization was considering signing YEKINDAR, but the transfer of the player would cost the club too much. During the conversation, the 25-year-old Serbian esportsman also touched on the recent roster overhaul, noting that NEOFRAG and F1KU were not the first candidates on the list of potential replacements.
We actually tried to get YEKINDAR, but it would cost OG about $1 million to buy him out. Obviously, such a deal was not possible. We also tried to negotiate jks, but he was not interested in joining us. And out of the rest of the available players, NEOFRAG and F1KU were the best candidates. Their cost cannot be called cheap, but we still paid the agreed-upon compensation.
I know a lot of people and analysts have been thinking maybe we could get YEKINDAR, maybe we could get jks. But like I said, we couldn't afford YEKINDAR and jks wasn't interested in joining us.
