Rumor: roeJ and nicoodoz to join fnatic's new roster
According to a number of insiders, the British esports organization fnatic is preparing to introduce an updated CS:GO roster, which will include roeJ and nicoodoz, as well as HEAP. As expected, the official announcement will take place this afternoon, as announced the day before by the director of the division, Andreas Samuelsson.
The most interesting is the signing of roeJ and nicoodoz, who have proven themselves in the Copenhagen Flames. Together with the team, Danish esportsmen won BLAST Rising 2021, Malta Vibes Knockout Series #4, Pelaajat.com Nordic Masters: Spring 2022 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022: European RMR B, and also got into the top three at Snow Sweet Snow #2, European Development Championship Season 4, Funspark ULTI 2021: Europe Season 3 and Pinnacle Cup III, among others.
However, they had their greatest success at the majors, as Copenhagen Flames stopped short of reaching the playoffs at PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and also reached the quarter-finals of the last PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
The third recruit of the team should be HEAP. The 22-year-old Swede has spent the last year and a half with Dignitas, finishing in the top three at Funspark ULTI 2021: Europe Season 1 and Funspark ULTI 2021: European Playoffs #2. That being said, HEAP is already on the club's transfer list, which announced a restructuring of the unit in early May.
Recall that the organization fnatic announced the restructuring of the CS:GO roster around KRIMZ and mezii. As a result of the initial changes, the club moved ALEX and poizon to the bench while Peppzor returned to Fnatic Rising's youth roster. At the same time, the British club said that it is in the final stages of signing newcomers.
fnatic is set to unveil a new roster ahead of the start of the Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022, which kicks off in a few days. It is reported that mezii will be the captain of the new team.
A possible fnatic CS:GO roster is as follows:
- KRIMZ.
- mezii.
- roeJ.
- nicoodoz.
- HEAP.
- keita (coach).
