Evil Geniuses confirms the purchase of two additional CS:GO rosters
According to a number of authoritative publications, the North American esports organization Evil Geniuses confirms the purchase of two additional CS:GO rosters. The club has finally seized the moment by presenting its long-awaited 15-player squad.
After a lengthy negotiation process, Evil Geniuses is expected to announce the signing of Carpe Diem and Party Astronauts to form their new 15-player roster soon. The move follows an initial report released early last month that suggested that Evil Geniuses were interested in both rosters from the ESL Challenger League.
At the same time, sources say that the new project will not resemble the usual academic program, in which all 15 players will perform in three different compositions with the possibility of rotation if the need arises.
With the upcoming signing of new rosters, the organization will most likely begin the process of rebuilding its core CS:GO team. Nicole LaPointe Jameson, CEO of Evil Geniuses, has already hinted at the idea of a roster change following the failure of BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2022. While the recent layoff of the coaching staff may put such a move on hold for a while, the possibility of roster changes remains.
If the main roster of Evil Geniuses can't bounce back from poor performances in the first half of the year, the organization will have a huge pool of promising players who are eager to showcase themselves at major events.
The likely Evil Geniuses CS:GO roster is as follows:
- Brehze.
- CeRq.
- Stewie2K.
- automatic.
- RUSH.
- ben1337.
- PwnAlone.
- djay.
- Johnji.
- viz.
- walco.
- wiz.
- HexT.
- chop.
- CLASIA.
