Xaoc from NAVI about Russian fans: “Many of them have already unfollowed us and stopped supporting Natus Vincere”

Today Mikhail 'Olsior' Zverev interviewed the COO of the Ukrainian esports club Natus Vincere live on his Twitch stream. In it, Aleksey 'xaoc' Kucherov shared his thoughts on doing business in the future, NaVi 's role in Russia's war with Ukraine, decisions related to Boombl4, business policies and much more. We have collected the most interesting moments for you. In this excerpt, Alexey told how the war in Ukraine affected the attitude of Russian-speaking fans towards the Ukrainian club:

It seems to me that the impact of the feedback dynamics will be more noticeable a little later. Since the beginning of the war, NAVI has been making a lot of content, which is of course unpleasant for Russian fans. Many from this country have already unfollowed us and stopped supporting Natus Vincere. At the same time, now we have begun to devote more time to games. The current atmosphere can negatively affect the game. We understand this and want to give fans more information.

Oleksiy said that none of the esportsmen playing in NAVI supports the war in Ukraine:

We don't have players who support the war. Otherwise, cooperation with them would be simply impossible. If the player moved to another country and does not support the war, then everything is fine. But it should be understood that his relatives are in Mordor and he may still want to return there. We cannot force the player to express his position radically enough so that he can still go back later. Sooner or later they will have to do it. If they radically express their thoughts, then they simply will not have the opportunity to go back. Many people do not notice, but some guys really expressed their thoughts about the war and they have quite adequate thoughts and position. We can't afford to ask the players to talk about it in a very radical way. There are esportsmen who left Russia and are not going to return, but we cannot demand this.
