NAVI excluded BoombI4 from the starting roster
The Ukrainian eSports organization NaVi has announced changes in the starting lineup for CS:GO by moving BoombI4 to inactive. It is reported that the reason for the changes in the composition were high reputational risks.
After the end of the PGL Major Antwerp, the NAVI eSports club excluded Kirill "BoombI4" Mikhailov from the active CS:GO roster. The reasons for the decision are associated with high reputational risks for the club and are not the result of his game.
We thank BoombI4 for three years in NAVI: his dedication and contribution to the victory at PGL Major Stockholm 2021, Intel Grand Slam 3 and other major championships.
The composition of the team for BLAST Premier: Spring Finals will be announced later.
BoombI4 joined NAVI in May 2019 after moving from the Winstrike Team camp. Over the course of three years, the 23-year-old Russian player helped the team win many significant tournaments, including Intel Extreme Masters XIV - World Championship, BLAST Premier: Global Final 2020, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Cologne, PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and BLAST Premier: World Final 2021.
The last championship for the captain was PGL Major Antwerp 2022, following which NAVI took second place. However, there has been talk of changes in the team's roster over the past few months. At the same time, electroNic was considered the main candidate for exclusion from the starting five, who, according to rumors, could be replaced by YEKINDAR.
The organization promised to provide information on the composition of the team in the near future. The next championship for the team will be BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, which will start in two and a half weeks.
Currently, the NAVI CS:GO roster is as follows:
- s1mple.
- electroNic.
- perfecto.
- b1t.
- B1ad3 (coach).
- BoombI4 (inactive).
