enkay J leaves BIG
enkay J has announced his departure from BIG. The 32-year-old German specialist announced this on his Twitter, adding that the parties agreed to part ways by mutual agreement.
What can I say? Six months later, BIG decided to replace me as head coach, and we mutually agreed to part ways.
I had a very good time filled with many great ups but as usual also some heartbreaking downs. I am very fortunate to have collected so many wonderful memories with some of my very close friends. Thank you for that.
I am sincerely grateful to all the players with whom I was lucky enough to work for their trust in me as a coach and their dedication to the team. I want to thank all my former players and BIG staff for making the last six months a wonderful experience for me.
As for what lies ahead for me, I am open to suggestions and looking for a new challenge. I am currently evaluating all options and looking forward to the next chapter of my career, but I want to continue as a head coach in CS:GO.
enkay J took over BIG at the end of last year. In six months , the 32-year-old German specialist led the team to the top three at DreamHack Open November 2021, V4 Future Sports Festival - Budapest 2021 and Funspark ULTI 2021, and also led the team to the "legends" of PGL Major Antwerp 2022.
However, before the start of the major, the German club decided to remove enkay J from work, appointing gob b as head coach. Tomorrow, May 14, BIG will start its journey as part of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 - in the first round of the competition, the team will play with Imperial Esports.
